Welcome to the forum. I have used 75.0 gr RL 22 with a 180 gr bullet in the 300 Win Mag with excellent results. Well under MOA accuracy and 3000 fps in 3 different rifles. Others have used the same load with similar results. With this kind of stellar performance, its difficult to want to try anythig else. JD338.

I am getting a very consistent 3150 out of a 24" bbl and right at an moa at 100 yds. I am primarily a 270/30-06 hunter for everything.The .30 Nosler is loaded at a pressure of 1,000 psi higher than the .300 Win Mag, which is a big reason for the difference in performance between these two. As far as bullet weights are concerned, both these cartridges use similar bullet weights that top at 230 grains, but the .30 Nosler can fire heavier bullets.For your 300 WIn Mag, RL22 is the powder of choice foro 180 gr loads.
